Brandy Culver

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Brandy graduated from UT-Knoxville in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and moved to Memphis. She joined Duncan Eye in December 2010. She has 14 years of experience in ophthalmology and obtained her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification in 2007. Brandy has been on three medical mission trips to Mexico with the World Cataract Foundation. In her spare time Brandy enjoys traveling with her husband and being outdoors with their two dogs.

 

Brenda Archer

Medical Coding / Billing and Reception

Brenda was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated from Wooddale High School. She has over 43 years of experience working in medical offices and over 26 in ophthalmology. A true multi-tasker, she is in charge of coding and billing while also running the reception desk at Duncan Eye. Outside of work Brenda is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

 

Kayla Henderson

Ophthalmic Assistant

Kayla joined Duncan Eye in May 2015 and has 13 years of medical experience in both ophthalmology and optometry offices. She is currently working toward obtaining her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification. Kayla enjoys spending time with her two sons, Grizzlies basketball games and visiting her family in her hometown of Oxford, Mississippi when she is not at work.

 

 

Megan Rodery

Receptionist

Megan was born and raised in Bartlett, Tennessee and attended Bartlett High School.  She joined Duncan Eye in October 2019 with 11 years of experience in clerical and administrative work. Megan is married and has one daughter. In her free time she enjoys hunting with her husband and spending time with her family.

 

 

Rebecca O’Connell, COA

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Rebecca is a native Memphian and attended the University of Memphis. Rebecca joined Duncan Eye in October 2019 with 15 years of experience in both ophthalmology and optometry offices. She has maintained her certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant since 2007. Outside of work Rebecca loves traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and daughter.
